Week 2 - Preschool & Elk

Alright week 2. We got back home from TN. One of the super awesome aspects of people on unemployment from September to June was I was able to be there for Violet everyday of preschool. All field trips. All parties. That was a huge bonus.
So this week, Violet had her very first day of school. She was very excited and the whole family came to see her go in. She went to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and only for the morning. She had a class of 7 kids and Violet was one of only two girls. While she enjoyed it and learned a lot, it was certainly a nice break for both her and us.

Preschool allowed us, since the boys were still major nap
pers, to work on home improvement projects and the like.

I would typically take Violet to school in the morning while Emily stayed home with the sleeping boys. I would bring home breakfast, continue sleeping, and then (if there was time) clean up the house. The boys and I would just hang out and play until it was time to get Violet and lunch. The whole family would go to pick up Violet. It was exciting to see what new things she had learned and created during the morning.

This week we also took a trip to an Elk Farm. Emily's parents went with us. The kids got to ride in a tractor and see some wild life. I got to try an Elk burger, which was very dry if I recall correctly.
