Week 3 - Birthday, Reunions and Trains?

Week 3 was a busy week. I think we were taking advantage of our time as much as possible. Violet had her birthday this week. She celebrated with friends at school and family at home. They made her Star of the Week in her class, she brought in cookies to share and we picked her up toting a crown and balloon:

I think Fletch felt that this unemployment may have been the perfect timing to make his run as "Man of the House." But lucky for me, he couldn't get into those bigger shoes that were required.

We spend a lot of time together just hanging out. The children got to really get to know their new brother. I built a picnic table for them. We had a number of picnics and meals in general out side.

We also took them to Recreation unlimited, this place was pretty awesome and a ton of fun. They had a bunch of playsets and cabins the kids could run around in and play on. We had just gotten our playset not to long ago and went looking for parts to add to it. We didn't get any, but the kids were very excited and did not want to leave.
This weekend also happen to be the Cleveland family reunion. This is a yearly and very large event on Emily's side of the family. They have a hay ride, and games, and the kids get to run around in a giant field. My favorite part of filming Violet on a make-shift train. Oh did I mention I was riding a 4-wheeler at the time ... and holding Fletch. While filming.
