Week 5 - Fire and Bluegrass

Week 5 - It seems like there was always something every week doesn't it. We didn't even plan it that way. I'm interested to see if this trend continues as I can't remember every single week. This week has one of my proudest moments. Here is Fletch attempting to help Daddy with some freelance work:

This week also held Violet's first field trip ... ever. Her class got to go visit the main fire station in historic downtown Noblesville. One of the perks of being unemployed was allowing me to attend this event. The kids had fun the whole week preparing for this trip. They got to ride around in playschool firetrucks and wear fire hats. At the fire station they meet some firemen, got to look and hold some fire fighting equipment, and also got the grand tour.

This weekend was the annual Blue Grass Festival that a number of people from church attend. We went up for the day on Saturday. We got to hang out with friends, eat some camp fire food. The grownup kids played their annual soccer game. And the little kids got to play on playgrounds.
